This is an amazing antique 17th century sword chest. What has this swashbuckling item seen and heard over the centuries? It has even been converted to a toolbox at some point and has evidence of being used as a work bench. The remnants of paint and accidental marks only add to the story of this piece.

It has only been in the shop for a couple of weeks with many admirers and has recently sold!

A highly practical bookcase made in three stacked sections. Indeed, this fairly large furniture item is very easy to disassemble and transport. Flat-pack furniture has been around for years, centuries even!

This watch makers chest of drawers dates from around 1930 and is made from stained pine. It has the original black bakelite knobs and has a truly beautiful (to me) worn patina. This item has sold.

Each drawer is blind tooled with a number inside corresponding to a number hand written in the chest carcass. These drawers are in untouched condition from the day they came out of the watchmakers. Extraordinary that it is in nearly perfect condition with no chips - just a few scratches on the underside of the base. Stunning … well, I think so!

This is a green handmade throw from Bobbi Handmade. Bobbi is a Rhayader based designer and maker of beautiful children’s clothing. Bobbi Handmade started in 2011 transitioning from Bobbi’s successful family business established in the 1970s. I love earthy and jewel colours- natural and striking. Bobbi loves African fabrics (amongst many other types of course). I was delighted when Bobbi said yes to collaborating on some interior pieces for 3 Legged Duck. Bobbi suggested some beautiful and striking African print fabric. These versatile double sided throws have been pre-washed to avoid uneven shrinkage.
