A highly practical bookcase made in three stacked sections. Indeed, this fairly large furniture item is very easy to disassemble and transport. SOLD A nest of 3 Gordon Russell walnut tables by Russell of Broadway circa 1950’s. Designed in the Post-Modernist era by Sir Gordon Russell who, amongst numerous accolades won a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition with a cabinet valued in 2013 at £50-60K. SOLD This is a late 19th century country made mahogany arm chair with a beautiful curved shape. When you look closely it looks like it has been in a Wild West showdown with multiple repairs! The repairs are good and strong though with no movement. This one is a survivor :)

Handmade rag bunting exclusively made for and in collaboration with 3LD by Bobbi Handmade. Bobbi is local to Rhayader and designs and makes children’s clothing. I showed Bobbi a photo of rag bunting at Gifford’s Circus and to my delight she had made similar for her wedding. This is a fantastic way of creating a decorative item out of normally discarded fabric which is attached to 2.5 metre long super strong natural yachting cord. Also available in mustard yellows/earthy tones. Price includes UK mainland postage.

This cute Indian carved box dates from the late 19th century. The interior has been sympathetically relined as the original lining had deteriorated significantly. I believe this item was made as a sewing box but would function as a beautiful jewellery box too.

This Indian table is of coffee or side table size. It dates from the 19th century and is made from a wheel. A fantastic piece of antique upcycling! It is very heavy due to the iron supports and layers of wood held together with nails and iron brackets.

SOLD This fabulous piece of 1920s workmanship would have been made for the industrial office. A fantastic feature is the rotating wheel of hooks. Would look magnificent in any hallway (with a fairly high ceiling as it stands at nearly 7ft tall!).

This antique Japanese Cloisonne vase dates from the Meiji period c. 1900. It is on black enamel ground with floral decoration.

This is a rare 1960's/70's set of nine Oshie Japanese silk dolls. Oshie means 'Japanese patchwork'- a traditional technique of using fragments of clothing and paper/card to create dolls for girls. These are exquisitely made with hand painted/brushed facial features and individually placed beards.

Meet ‘Jonathan’ (named by previous custodian) the mannequin torso. This piece of mannequin art is covered with pages from 50 Shades of Grey using the decoupage technique. I thought it wise NOT to show a detail of this piece! Jonathan is a very useful chap as you can adorn him with your accessories. A definite talking/giggling point!

SOLD This is a mid-century wall clock made by Metamec. In full working order with quartz movement and very pretty pierced foliate surround. Metamec was a manufacturer of domestic clocks in the second half of the 20th century, and was based in Dereham, Norfolk, England. The name "Metamec" is derived from "metal-work and mechanics". The company started as an offshoot of the furniture manufacturers Jentique in about 1941, which made boxes for instruments and bombs during World War II. Price includes UK mainland postage.

SOLD I positively love the atomic age (late 40s–early 60s) and this piece, although probably dating from late 60s early 70s takes inspiration from this era. This is an original and rare Mid century modern tallboy dresser by White & Newton. A beautifully designed piece in solid & veneered teak wood with atomic style ebonised knobs and retro dansette legs (ebonised wood legs with brass feet caps).

These mid century chest of drawers have funky rounded edges and an unusual light coloured painted veneer. The handles are not original but could easily be replaced if desired. I think they are really rather pretty and quirky.
