Metamec wall clock (price includes UK delivery)



This is a mid-century wall clock made by Metamec.

In full working order with quartz movement and very pretty pierced foliate surround.

Metamec was a manufacturer of domestic clocks in the second half of the 20th century, and was based in Dereham, Norfolk, England. The name “Metamec” is derived from “metal-work and mechanics”. The company started as an offshoot of the furniture manufacturers Jentique in about 1941, which made boxes for instruments and bombs during World War II.

Excellent condition. There are places on the surround where cleaning has been attempted incorrectly- slight difference in coloration but this is only noticeable very close up.
