3 Legged Duck was on Antiques Road Trip in September 2021. It was great fun having the film crew here for the day and yes we really did do the deal!

With 3 Legged Duck you can create a home filled with art, treasure and soul.

My name is Clare Flynn- I am 3LD’s founder and Creative Director. As a result of my museum exhibition design experience I create museum-like spaces punctuated with character. Objects with a story to tell, and quality handmade creations because I believe they are treasured and are the antiques of the future.

This is a collection of curious, beautiful and eclectic objects. Anything from Arts and Crafts, Deco, Victorian, mid-century modern, antique Chinese and Japanese, Scandinavian, barge-ware, folk-art, African art- the list is endless.

I quite simply buy what I love. This is because it is the emotional connection to items that makes me want to own them. My home is filled with things which are special to me and bring me enjoyment. Our homes are a reflection of what is unique about each and everyone of us.

SOLD This brass bell is very loud and causes a ripple of laughter whenever it is pressed in the Rhayader shop. It's hard to resist- you just have to press it. I like the used look with dull brass for this one- this bell has been dinged many times! Wouldn't take much effort though to bring it back to a see yourself finish. I showed Bobbi a photo of rag bunting at Gifford’s Circus and to my delight she had made similar for her wedding. This is a fantastic way of creating a decorative item out of normally discarded fabric which is attached to 2.5 metre long super strong natural yachting cord.
