Inspired by the fanzines and music (of my youth) from the 1970’s and 80’s these individually hand bound note books take a swing at the soulless ebooks. Bound in book cloth (not plastic coated paper made to look like cloth) and prints from the original art work, these books are meant to be used. The text block paper is lined 70gsm, section sewn (with thread). Collaged Note Books. Hand bound note books in book cloth (not plastic coated paper made to look like cloth) and unique hand collaged art work makes for a book that is as unique as its owner. Evoking a bygone (Victorian) era with a contemporary twist, images and text are derived from the book-artists personal collection. The collaged art work often includes up-cycled and recycled papers. SOLD This brass bell is very loud and causes a ripple of laughter whenever it is pressed in the Rhayader shop. It's hard to resist- you just have to press it. I like the used look with dull brass for this one- this bell has been dinged many times! Wouldn't take much effort though to bring it back to a see yourself finish.
