Inspired by the fanzines and music (of my youth) from the 1970’s and 80’s these individually hand bound note books take a swing at the soulless ebooks. Bound in book cloth (not plastic coated paper made to look like cloth) and prints from the original art work, these books are meant to be used. The text block paper is lined 70gsm, section sewn (with thread). Collaged Note Books. Hand bound note books in book cloth (not plastic coated paper made to look like cloth) and unique hand collaged art work makes for a book that is as unique as its owner. Evoking a bygone (Victorian) era with a contemporary twist, images and text are derived from the book-artists personal collection. The collaged art work often includes up-cycled and recycled papers. This vintage Chinese Cloisonne vase probably dates from the 1980s. It is on blue enamel ground with floral decoration.

This vintage brass Welsh miner's lamp is a great piece of industrial heritage. Traditionally used for safety in mines, this is now a souvenir of years gone by.

Vintage Spanish Lacquered Marquetry Wood Mosaic Inlay Tray.
Long octagonal shaped decorative tray with inlay shell and wood veneer. Red and Green accents with saw tooth pattern around edge. Souvenir of Granada Spain. More info to follow -

This beach watercolour painting dates from the mid to late 20th century. It is in the very popular English school style.

Beautiful 19th century Arts and Crafts vessel hand-raised with scrolling acanthus decoration. This was probably made by a student at either the Keswick School of Industrial Art (KSIA) or Newlyn School of Art.

A pair of brass and copper mounted wrought iron candle holders on scrolled tripod support in the style of WAS Benson. There is a flower missing to the stem of one holder so the price reflects this as they would normally retail for up to £400.
