SOLD In more modern times this piece has been converted from a vase to a lamp. The champleve cloisonne enamel quatrefoil cylindrical base dates from the 19th century. The obvious signs of wear and tear do not detract from the stunning floral and bamboo decoration. It has been rewired with a gold twisted fabric flex for an opulent feel. I would go as far as to say this is the most beautiful item I have come across this year and it is a pleasure to own it. This is a late 19th/early 20th century, hand painted papier mâché, standard lamp which his from Kashmir or could be South Russian.

A pair of brass and copper mounted wrought iron candle holders on scrolled tripod support in the style of WAS Benson. There is a flower missing to the stem of one holder so the price reflects this as they would normally retail for up to £400.
